Project #1 Lost mobile phone
Description
I lost my first mobile phone 11 years ago. It’s not like a current smart phone with only a big screen in the front panel. Rather, it is a slider phone, whose T9 keyboard is behind the front panel and could slide open for use. In the front panel, a screen is in the center. Below the screen, there are 5 buttons—2 upper buttons, 2 lower buttons and a centered button. Specially, I put a yellow smiley sticker on the centered button. Additionally, on the left side of the screen, there are 3 buttons used to control the music playing, which are ‘last’, ‘play/pause’ and ‘next’. In terms of the color, the front and back panels are all black, while the side frame is red. What’s more, a white bear pendant hangs on the bottom of the phone. This phone had accompanied me during my primary school time of grade 3 to grade 5. I was heart-broken of losing it.
Reflections
Instead of drawing directly on a drawing board, drawing with code is more complex. I needed to find the exact location and size of each icon, as well as make sure the code was logically correct. In the production process, because of the details and logic bugs often cause errors, I needed constantly revised. After finishing the code, I found many code that could be simplified, which required a lot of time to delete some redundant code.
